Overview of Tesla’s Q2 2024 Delivery Numbers
Tesla’s Q2 2024 delivery and production numbers have exceeded market expectations, showcasing a robust performance that underscores
the company’s significant growth momentum. In the second quarter of 2024, Tesla delivered a total of 466,140 vehicles,
marking a substantial increase from the 354,754 units delivered in Q1 2024. This represents a quarter-over-quarter growth of approximately 31%. The breakdown of these figures reveals that the Model 3 and Model Y continue to be the company’s bestsellers, with combined deliveries reaching 390,500 units. This segment alone saw a 28% increase from the previous quarter.
The Model S and Model X, Tesla’s premium offerings, also demonstrated strong performance, with deliveries totaling 58,640 units. This figure contrasts sharply with the 45,211 units delivered in Q1 2024, highlighting a notable 30% growth. The newly introduced Cybertruck, which has generated significant consumer interest, contributed an additional 17,000 units to the overall delivery numbers. While this is the first quarter of Cybertruck deliveries, its introduction has clearly had a positive impact on Tesla’s overall performance.
